Oil, gas prices help Willacy

High oil and gas prices are actually helping Willacy County, which is taking in more money from its gas and oil wells.
If our county has benefited from higher gas and oil prices, then why do our property taxes continue to rise? It seems our county needs a dose of Sarah Pahlin in county government.
