Wind farms do not nearly live up to the promises they make. They sound great and even look good on paper but the reality is they have a very checkered past begining in Europe and now in America. The easist lie to expose is how much energy they produce. For instsnce they claim their turbines put out (GE1.5) 1.5 MW but when you consider they only operate about 1/3 of the time they (GE 1.5)actually produce .5. This is just the tip of the iceberg. The damage to wildlife and habitat is just begining to be understood. Walt
