New Lenox School District 122 is bringing in a handler and his dog to sniff for drugs, firearms and ammunition as a precaution.

Long over due.
Sad that it isn't really a pro-active tatic,
but they can sell it that way if theyeel they must, as long as they are trying to do something about it.

Its a start, but qualified, responsible, trained, armed security would be a better solution!

All four LW schools have armed resource officers in-building when school is in session. Additionally, periodic visits by trained K9s who locate drug an ammunition materials is nothing new. It's been happening for several years on all four campuses.
