The comments were no foul play suspected?? Also it stated that he was checked on @ 5:25 and they "WHO" went back at 5:31 why only 7 min was he checked on again. If there was somethine wrong to kill this young 18 year old child @ 5:31 there most certainly was something wrong durning the first check. Trauma is not always found at first I do hope and trust that this is investigated from a higher level than the detention center which he was detained. Why was he in a cell alone most jails are so overly populated that they are sleeping on the floor and in halls? He was detained on 2\26 and died on 3\5 yes drugs can stay in your system he had been there for 1 full week. The statement also said that there was a contributing factor due to a long history of drug abuse. He was 18 how long of a history could he have had? There seems to be a long history of this jail and death's of its inmates. I DO HOPE THAT THERE WILL BE A FULL INVESTIGATION ON THE STATE LEVEL INTO THIS DEATH AND OTHERS THAT HAVE TAKEN PLACE THERE. Prays and sympathy to the families.

This boys family should not let this go and follow it up as far as they can. The jail has access to medical personnel, why don't they utilize them? Even if he had a history of drug abuse , he was under the care of the jail, had been for a week, and the doctor could have been called at the first sign of trouble.

i think that everyone of them jailors think they are something big in this town because they work at wcdc....the only people that work there are the rejects that couldnt make it in school....so now they are taking care of the jail....they all take there authority to far and think they can push all of those inmates around....there time is coming everyone of them!

Well i'm from there and the law is so messed up and well it sounds like to me either someone in the jail didn't like him or the cops were just not payin attention n if I were the parents I'd sue the hell outta them.....

I was one of bobbys dearest and close friends he had we spent out entire childhood growing up in Mack Martin apartments together. His mother trish was like my mother she was a hard working woman trying to provide for Bobby and his sister Danielle. I was often with Bobby we used to hang out nonstop every day. Bobby Aaron Hubbard was no saint but he didnt deserve to be drug to the hole and left to Die!!! I am so hurt by his death my lifelong friend was taken away by some Rent -a- Cops in suits I hope they die how would their family like that? For them just to be taken away from them like Bobby was taken away from us

Rest - In - Peace

Does anyone know if there is going to be an investigation into this? Or is it going to be allowed to quietly go away?

I was arrested in 93 for A.I and taken to the WCDC where in I received a broken arm. After receiving my broken arm that's when they charged me with Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, Attempt to Escape and Assault. They knew I had a lawsuit against them. So in order to save their asses they went to my husband with a bargain who was at that time in jail himself, wanting him to ask me not to peruse a lawsuit in exchange, dropping all charges against my husband and myself. That's one lawsuit I'll never get over.I should have sent my husband truck'n and sued the hell out of their Damn Asses!

I heard that he died from DTs while withdrawing from some drug he was addicted to. Someone should be held accountable for his death, if that is in fact what happened. Medical attention would have prevented that type of death.

its funny trying to put the blame on the workers and people at the jail when really the people to blame are the people that got their selves in there. no one could tell he was drug addicted

But they darn sure could have sent him to the hospital when they saw he was sick, insead of doing the "frequent checks". No one there is qualified to make medical judgements. The county has a responsibility for the health and welfare of the prisoners in its jail. A jailer is not there to make moral judgements, if I'm not mistaken , thats left up to God.
