Well they had first arrested 2 brothers, and now there have been 2 more arrests...and they are all 4 brothers!! How sad is this, 4 men from the same family killed ONE man? I hope that justice prevails in this case and that they are giving the maximum sentence, even if that means death, IMO they deserve nothing less for!!!

She-Devil I hope that narrow minded people, like yourself, don't have anything to do with their prosecution! I grew up with John and James W Anderson. Neither of these men would ever commit murder, unless it was in self-defense. Neither of them ever even provoked a fight in the forty years I have known them. They both had hearts of gold. I'll say it again, neither of these two men would ever have committed violence of any kind, unless it were in self-defense and I refuse to believe anything different. These two men are the exact opposite of cold-hearted!! The truth will come out and you will see just how wrong you are!
I feel sorry for the families of everyone involved. But the truth will come out!

Im probably one of the least narrow minded person u will ever meet. Yes, these men may have heart of golds, but that night drugs turned it into pure blackness. Ive said it in other posts i have made on this terrible crime, my heart goes out to BOTH families who have been affected by this. But the facts are there, have u not been reading up on the case? Larry was shot not once, not twice but THREE times in the head!!! 4 men against one...That is NOT self defense...They have evidence against these men or they never would have been arrested...Its very honorable that you stand firm in ur belief that these men didnt commit this murder. But you need to wake up and realize, when people are strung out on drugs as bad as they were, people do horrible things, that normally they wouldn't do. And these men are known in teh community, they are known to hang around known drug dealers. The facts are there.
Im sorry that ur friends are involved in this. And im sorry that thier family has to go thru the hurt of having 4 of thier own charged with murder. But my sympathy lies with the family of this father of 5, who will never see his kids grow up just because evil took over the minds of the men who killed him all due to drugs. This is a tragic story any way u look at it.

Had you read my post carefully you would have noticed that i am in defense for two of them, John and James W.. James A, and Jason are strangers to me. If you have any more information please post a link to the story, but as I have read anything I could find. I also got a second-hand story from one of their sisters but I do not know if she knew the whole story. I believe there were only two men present when the murder took place. I also read that the dead man has been convicted many times for different crimes, and was only recently released, and although I am not willing to share the story that I have, it does make much more sense, than the one you believe. Please do not pass judgment on John and James W, until they have their day in court. I am not sure how many children James W has, as I have not been in contact with him in awhile. But John Anderson, has two daughters and a son, which are the pride of his life, and I assure you he does not have a drug problem, nor was he there when the crime took place... The truth will come out!

Here is a quote taken from http://www.wkyt.com/news/headlines/20611499.h...

Jones was from an area just east of Williamsburg. Police say he's well-known in Whitley County but they're not commenting on his reputation. But court records show he has a history of theft and drug convictions. Jail records show he’s been incarcerated a total of 9 times….and was just released last month.

Funny I have not been able to find anything about prior convictions on the cold-blooded killers you mention, if there were don't you think the propaganda you believe would have been all over it?

With Williamsburg being a considerably small town, there a million and 1 different stories going around...I re-read where u had said u only know 2 of the men...Sorry i mis read that and thought u knew all 4...Ive read that 2 were charged with the actual murder and 2 were charged with murder, i got this off WYMTs website..

(Two brothers now face murder charges in Whitley County.

Last week, someone found Larry Jones, 35, shot to death on Cane Gap Road.

Late Monday night, police arrested James Allen Anderson and charged him with murder. Police say they believe the murder was the result of a drug deal gone bad.

Later in the day on Tuesday they caught up with Anderson's brother, James Wayne Anderson and arrested him.

Investigators say evidence at the scene, including a ball cap and a rifle scope helped lead them to their suspects.

Both men are charged with murder.)

ALSO THIS....

(Two more people now face charges in a Whitley County murder.

A grand jury indicted John Anderson and Jason Anderson on murder, facilitation and complicity charges.

They're reportedly related to brothers James A. and James W. Anderson who were also indicted on the same charges.

Police arrested the brothers in June for the murder of 35-year-old Larry Jones. He was found shot to death along Cane Gap Road, about 7 miles from Williamsburg.

Police say the murder was drug related.

Police say both James A. and James W. Anderson admitted to being involved in the crime, but to different degrees.)

AND THIS...

(Four men with the same last name are now facing charges in a Whitley County murder.

A grand jury indicted John and Jason Anderson on murder, facilitation and complicity charges.

They're reportedly related to brothers James 'A' and James 'W' Anderson, who were also indicted on the same charges.

Police arrested the brothers in June for the murder of Larry Jones.

He was found shot to death along a rural road.

Police say the murder was drug related.)

So, from my understanding, they are all being charged with the same things...murder, facilitation and complicity charges.

IMO it doesn't matter who pulled the gun, somehow all 4 men took some part on Larry's murder...If they knew after the fact and tried to help cover it up, they are just as guilty.

As for me believing "propaganda" im going by the facts and what i know personally of the case. Just because Larry had a rough past and a record, does that give ANYONE the right to murder him in cold blood? Does anyone deserve to die like that? No matter what Larry may or may not have done to these men, they could have handle the situation better then picking up a gun and blowing his damn face off!! Whats wrong with a good ol'd fashioned ass whooping? If they had done that instead of using a gun, Larry would still be alive, and those 4 men would be sitting at home enjoying this beautiful day with thier family. But the fact is, they didnt, and now, no matter to what extent each of them played in his murder, and now they must face whatever lies ahead of them.

yeppers I have read all of those, I still don't see anything telling what exactly happened, I believe that Jimmy (James W.{this is the one I know}) and Jamie (James A.{half-brother I never met}) were the two men allegedly present when the murder took place. But only one of them pulled the trigger, possibly to defend the other. Maybe this was a drug/robbery (incarcerated 9 times for drugs and theft) that backfired on Larry. There was a rifle scope and a ball cap found at the scene, which means there was obviously a struggle for the gun... I am sure that each of them ran to their respective brothers afterward. That is probably why the other two are being brought in. It doesn't take three bullets to execute someone. And as far as an ass-whoopin' goes Jimmy has and is such a skinny little guy, you could probably kick his butt, and I am not exaggerating. Search for the video of them bringing him in and you will see what I mean.

Well from my understanding, and this is all hearsay...is that Larry was dropped off at someones house by someone...and he was alone, the other person left...So had he planned on robbing one of the men...Why would he be dropped off? None of it is adding up...U know, im sure all the details will come out in the trial...U are standing by ur beliefs, and i truely do find that honorable...And im standing by mine...And, i do want to apologize if i came off as narrow minded or somewhat aggressive at times...I just know this family personally and when we got the call what happened, it was like a knife being shoved into my heart...There was a time when we were younger, that i considered Larry a friend...Tho i have not seen him in several years, i am still friends with the family...Yes, Larry has had a past filled with lots of wrongs...But for him to be killed like that...I will never understand the motive anyone gives for it...If i find anything more on the net i will pass it along to u...I dont see as how u and i going back and forth will ever change the way we feel about this case...We both feel for all the families involved, and we should continue to pray for everyone whose lives have been touched by this.

Elbert, i just felt the need to apologize because sometimes i can get a little "excited" and come off harsh, and thats never been my intention...I guess all my pain has come out thru my words...and i never wanted u to feel like i was attacking u or ur beliefs about this case....Like i said, should i come across any more info, even it just be heresay, i will let u know...Im glad that i have been able to help u deal with all thats been going on...Im sure u could do an internet search on the white pages and get a number for some of the Anderson family...I hope ur able to get in contact with someone to see how ur friends are doing.

Old KyBoy...Yes something went horribly wrong that night...No one will ever truely know what happened but the men who were there that night...I will continue to keep ur family in my prayers.

Hope u both had a great Sunday.

I talked to Tammy she gave it to John... Thanks Old KYBoy! I grew up with John and Jim's stepfather's side of the family. A whole clan of 'em. Dated five or six, ended up married to one of 'em. 21 years now. I met John when we were six, went to school together, lived next door, we were always together, Jimmy was just a little feller, tagging along with us. He was always good for a smile, even it was just his goofy one! He moved to KY when he got old enough. Only saw him a few times after that.

all of you should disengage from this happening and let the dead be the dead and just hope you are not the dead in similar circumstances. Idiots!

By the way I do have a glorious bushy palm tree like like head. I am so wonderful!
