Bellingham still fighting to keep Amtrak records private in death case
The city of Bellingham is still trying to keep secret documents sought by the lawyer for the family of a woman killed by an Amtrak train at Boulevard Park.

Shame on the City of Bellingham officials holding up these documents. There should be no secret records at the State and Municipal level. There are no state secrets here. I respect Pike and this Council has my support and my thanks for a tough job generally well done but they are wrong to the very core of decency, honor and just plain what is right - the documens on the woman killed should be given to the family attorney - now.
