This has been a hard, sad and confusing six months. James is my son and I love him very much. I miss him terribly! I am relieved that this chapter is over with. I pray that Mr. Savage can begin his life again. I am sure, in my heart, that Mr. Savage would do anything, at this point, to prevent this from happening again, if he could. I can live at peace with the prosecutor's decision. I do pray that everyone is understanding to our family and refrains from any negative comments. Thank you to you all who were so kind and helpful. Sincerely, Betty Turner, Mother of James Lacey
