See in newspaper Rummage is trying to take credit for this also. What about the Sheriff's Department? One of Sheriff's Balderson main campain was to have officers in Colonial Beach. He has followed through and I for one thank him. Not taking anything from Chief Hawkins because it takes both to get something done. This happen long before Rummage was Mayor.

... just another prime example of another mayor who thinks he's almighty ruler. He's 1, I repeat 1 (one) person on Council. He has 1, I repeat 1 (one) vote. Residents: don't let him have more power than the mayor's statuatory rights.

I agree, seems like we have another hands on mayor who has given each council member a department to oversee. Makes me wonder why we need department heads.

Way to go Chief Hawkins and all who were involved! This is a great step in cleaning up this town!

If Rummage wants to take credit, let him. No, he did not do anything in regards to it but he is now the Mayor of this town and should be proud of their efforts!

Pray a judge does not give then 99 years, All but time served suspended. They have to promise to be good. And guess what, they all promise to be good.
Our Police do their job at the risk of their life, and a stupid judge will let them go.
Thanks to all the law enforcement who do their jobs.
