Prosecutor out of Congdon case
Westmoreland County Commonwealth's Attorney Dean J. Atkins has refused to represent the Colonial Beach School Board in a court action to determine if Bronwyn "Anne" Congdon remains a town resident eligible to serve on the school board.

I think that this is the only position that Dean Atkins would be able to take in this matter.
He is obligated to avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest.
Common sense move on his part.
