The real problem here is that the union bosses extort the workers and employers to get their cut. $20/hour, plus overtime of $30/hr, health care and pensions is WAY above the county average pay. You people better look at the newspaper want ads section, because IF you can find a job, it will be for $10 /hr, and NO Pensionm withMAYBE some health care. I wish the public had the smarts to demand the same thing from the teachers union, and state workers union, so that WE can keep some of the money we EARN, and not give it all away in lavish wages and pensions to overpaid teachers, administrators, and state workers. Stand your ground, Mott's management. These strikers will soon learn just how good they had it.

What are you kidding me? Because everyone else rolls over and takes pay cuts they should too huh? Yeah that makes sense. Maybe in another 10 yrs. the average pay will be $5/hr. You ever think for a minute that everyone who actually works for a living should make more not less? They are not even asking for more in the negotiations just to keep what they have. Dr. Pepper Snapple is not hurting. They are making huge, huge profits. It all boils down to corporate greed. These corporate giants dont want to pay their employees what they are worth. They want all the money for themselves. The scabs who cross the picket lines are bringing the national wage down. Stop being cattle and stand up for whats right.

You're obviously an overpaid teacher, since any other union dopey supporter can't spell worth a bag of dogshit. What do you make...$65k/yr to sit on your wide backside all summer? What, no 401k like everyone else in the USA? Why do you think you're so special? I propose all teachers should work for the summer, mowing along 390/490/590 and picking up litter, or take a 25% paycut, since your ridiculous wage is a REAL GOOD salary that most people have to work all year round to earn. You're not fooling anyone, wide load.
