They should have been trimming the fat years ago!does public really know all the ridiculous retirement packages salaries etc that have been corrupting southeast Mich for years? Chickens have come home to roost now. Local and federal governments have been overspending much too often at taxpayers expense.Thrsr millage hikes r hopefully a thing of the past!

Benny needs a new mantra. Every time something comes up he trots out the scare that violent offenders will be set free in your neighborhood. He used that with the August 7th jail proposal and it passed. Why not use it again he thinks!
Nobody in the sheriff's job meets the budget. Warren Evans was a violator as well. Just spend what you want and ignore the consequences, which are few. Only the voters can fire him.
