House gives OK to state budget with higher taxes
The state House gave final approval early today to its $18.6 billion budget for state government next year that imposes higher taxes added by Democrats who argued they're necessary to avoid crushing spending cuts.

So, i have to cut spending, and have no hope for an income increase, and the NC Gov does?
