IF this is not against the law, why all the who-rah about it.

The agency that rehires these workers should be happy to have the position filled and continue to work to hire a qualified person and not just sit back and let it ride they are as guilty of abusing the law as you point out the person is.

Hire them on the provision of till filled, or until a qualified candidate is found. I am sure they would be happy to go back into retirement and enjoy themselves and not have to work.

Bus drivers are easier to hire than a Police Chief or special education teacher, but I am sure if the city, county or school district looked they would find qualified people.

SO don't make it look like these folks are the bad guy, look instead at the agency that rehires them. Look to the law makers that have gutted our state to keep the corporate and mining taxes low. Thus missing the opportunity to fund services and the schools that so desperately need support.
