I think the home owners could have possibly have known his intentions. They are justified in their actions!

@Mark, however you are not the homeowner, nor where you there, so you cannot think anything, but be saddened by this tragedy for both families involved. The news will tell you what they think they know, but you have to remember we have not heard from the homeowner, nor has he been charged. This is a difficult scenario we are talking about, a father and husband protecting his family from an unexpected guest. I am a homeowner and a father and I hope I am never put into a situation such as this, but if I am, I do not know the intentions of the person trying to walk into my house, nor what I would do to stop them from hurting my family. Please hold judgement until we can hear from both families.

I am very saddened that this young adult lost his life but he made poor choices which now has resulted in this tragic end. This homeowner did the right thing as he felt that his life and the life of his family is endangered. The mother of Bo Morrison should have intervened on her son dangerous path a long time ago.

Sounds like 60 people need to educate themselves on the WI Castle Doctrine law, because obviously they don't understand it now.

Do you know anything about the mother to say she didnt try? Kids do many things whether they have parents who are involved with them or not! You shouldnt just ASSUME she is the problem.
