Keep it up Verizon - keep cutting heads while everything you've preached to your employees - Quality - Best Cost - Do it right the first time - goes right down the drain. Your customer service is horrible now, you can't get the same answer from two different call center employees -(assuming you can even GET INTO a call center.) You badger your non-sales employees to SELL ONE MORE when it's an embarrassment because commitments are missed when they're expecting callbacks or installs. And now - one of the most sacred of products - an Unlisted Telephone Number - is allowed to get published. Keep sending those jobs overseas and lining your CEO's pockets while taking away benefits from those that built the company. You'll see - You'll get yours!

What a mess! Well, just a hint to the wise. You can list your telephone number under any name you wish. I chose my maiden name. I don't have to pay for unlisted and nobody can find me in the phone book. So simple but so easy.

The numbnuts at Verizon did the same thing about 3-1/2 years ago in Cecil County. I alwys have had an unlisted number- it greatly reduces the amount of solicitations that you receive, so I was really P-O'd when I glanced in a directory that was delivered and found my number and address listed. Called Verizon and they denied that they had released the info, implying that I had somehow provided it to the directory firm. But several months later, I received a letter from Verizon, apologizing for the eff-up and offering some B-S "we're sorry, here's a few bucks" offer.
