But if it said Death to Bush nothing would have happened to him.

I can't stand the double standards that are happening. Pelosi says those speaking out against health care reform is un-American but the media always gave positive light to Code Pink, Cindy Sheean and all the others.

How do you know what would have happened? Are you psychic? You can protest all you want, but threatening the life of the President is illegal, fool.

Hey jerk, people that held signs like that about Bush were arrested with regular frequency. The real problem now is we have more lynch mob racists in this country than anyone thought who are upset that we have a black president. Get Used to it Adolf

So... the guy who held the sign with a picture of President Bush with a gun to his head that was captioned "Wanted: Dead or Alive." with the Alive crossed out, WASN'T doing the exact same thing??

Try again. Double standard all around.

Kind of like you liberals in the case, of which that is only one, that I listed above? Damn... people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Here's another one for... why the talk of conservatives using Nazi tactics and Nazi symbols, of which I've seen none of... even on CNN, MSNBC, and HLN, as a bad thing, when it's liberal Unions who are using Brown Shirt tactics, and liberal protestors through the Bush years who actually made signs depicting Bush as Hitler??

Turn about is fair play. Your medecine is pretty foul tasting, huh? Take another big dose.

LOL Believe you??

How about we believe the policies he's pushing? That sounds like a better plan. Actions speak louder than words. Here's another one for you: Tell me who his friends are, and I'll tell you who he is.

According to this statistic, it's the right wing that is way nuttier.

Since Barack Obama took office, the rate of threats against the president has increased 400 percent from the 3,000 a year or so under President George W. Bush, according to Ronald Kessler, author of In the President's Secret Service. Some threats to Obama included an alleged plot by white supremacists in Tennessee late last year to rob a gun store, shoot 88 black people, decapitate another 14 and then assassinate the first black president in American history. Most however, are kept under wraps because the Secret Service fears that revealing details of them would only increase the number of copycat attempts.

I don't know about you, but, VERBAL threats are a lot more dangerous than a "sign". Whatever!

Your first amendment doesn't cover everything. You can't yell "fire" in a crowded restaurant. You can't slander anyone. And you can't make death threats to anyone, much less the president.
