This is a fantastic story about a fantastic teacher. I had the privilege of having Mr. zahs as my 7th grade Iowa history teacher and am so grateful for the experience! He is one of the reasons I became a teacher myself. Mr. Zahs loved telling stories that truly brought history to life! Im glad he is sharing the film footage now.
