I am new to the Canyons and I think it is a great place. I too think it would be wonderful if a company came in and made it all I think it can be... because the potential is huge. However, I am not sure why everyone seems to dislike Talikser so much. I thought they did some nice things over at deer valley (although I've never been there). Isn't is possible for Talisker to make big improvements to the Canyons as well? Experience is not everything... it's not rocket science to make the Canyons a little nicer. I am not a Talisker suppoter, I don't know anything about them, I'm just curious why everyone is so unhappy with them. It seems like no one has a good thing to say about them.

I would love to see the golf course finally get built and a few new eateries and shops.

Talisker's m.o. is over-promise and under-deliver. I actually feel sorry for those super-wealthy elites who will not be enjoying their member amenities during their lifetime.

I worked for GSG the construction company that built the Tuhaye Golf Course and Development. During construction Talisker was frequently behind on paying their bills and Jack's favorite saying was just sprinkle them to keep the vendors at bay. With Jack the squeaky wheel gets the cheese. So squeak loudly and protect yourself when dealing with this guy.
