BTW, Edmunds and his posse (namely Booth) have deputies posting "possitive comments for Edmunds" during working hours. Edmunds is also campaining on duty and while in the office. This should be looked in to. The computers are all registered in Coalville, unless they are laptops, so the area will read Coalville. Not cool!

I chuckled at the part about the cops spending hours searching a one bedroom
apartment. Give 'em a vacuum cleaner and some Windex...at least their efforts would have resulted in something positive!

this is horseshit. i completely agree that targeting hard drug dealers would be a much better use of the sheriff's office's time and budget. a couple of pounds of pot is nothing, and that certainly does not indicate a big time dealer.

for the sheriff's department to call the press to cover this "operation" is ridiculous. are they going to call the PR every time they pull someone over, just to show how nice they are and what a good job they're doing? doubtful. but the most disturbing part is they carried out this "operation" in front of children. any child who sees a group of thugs with guns in facemasks is going to be scared, rightfully so.

i doubt the fear they instilled in children is worth the 1-2 pounds of pot they were able to get. and they MAY file charges? why in the world would they not?!?!?!?!? especially after the huge show they put on for everyone.

i certainly hope the people of summit county speak out in november, and vote edmunds out of office.

Wow.

Busting pot dealers during an election year in full swat gear and facemasks. Was Edmunds worried that if the dealer was home, he would have thrown a bag of Cheetos as them?

And a resort property mamnagement company takes locals for about 7 million, and not even a "knock" on the door. That's what I call PRIORITIES!

I can't believe Edmunds had inmates shoveling my Grandparents sidewalks in the winter. Is he doing it for more press coverage for when my Grandparents are burglarized? I'm voting for Dax

Really!?!?! All that effort and tax payers money exhausted on a lousy pound of WEED?!?!? Seriously guys, you've gotta have SOMETHING better to do with your time. Isn't UT one of the primary states for METH??

The clowns, namely Ron Bridge, the same one that lied about his K9 training for over a year and still has his job, is now reporting to the press? What about all the deputies with no integrity that Edmunds surrounds himself with? What a joke Edmunds turned out to be. I'm glad his game backfired on him.
I support Sheriff Edmunds, but this statement is very true. The Sheriff needs to wake up and see that Bridge, Booth, and Farnsworth do nothing but damage his office. They are a cancer that needs to be cut out. Cut them out and your office will flourish Sheriff, and you won't get such bad advice as you did on this ridiculous raid! As for the Canine Deputy who got run off for "doing his job". If your job is violating the Constitution of the United States and sexually harassing people, then my all means bring the idiot back. The means don't justify the ends when it comes to civil rights!
