Well, probably the name, the attention drawn, and maybe some false allegations by PC fanatics. We have a system set up to punish non-conformists. Yes, the name is offensive, but that does not mean the parents are necessarily unfit.

Why don't we all demand the representatives and senators back us up and remember the constitution!

The children do not belong to the state....

They are not being abused and are well cared-for...

If we are home of the free and brave then defend free speech and every other rights we have or lose these rights to a few corrupt politicians and others...

Good old Uncle Sam doing his best to disrupt a family that probably has never abused or mistreated their children while little Susie down the street is being raped every night by her drug addict father. Child protective services is a joke.

The state can't remove a child because they don't like the child's name. I wouldn't doubt that there's a lot more to the story. There are very few cases of children being taken from good and loving homes but there are a hell of a lot of cases where children should have been protected but weren't. Maybe they're erring on the side of caution. Obviously, the parents are a little off in the head. Seriously, who names their children after sadistic evil murderers or a white supremacist organization? Isn't it possible that these children are being raised in an ignorant, hate-filled and maybe even a dangerous enviornment? Maybe not but the state is right to look into it.

I agree with daisy, a child can't be removed from a home solely based on the childs name. The county can get involved if they believe the child is being abused in some way. I hope in some way when these kids get through this whole mess and grow up, that they are able to change there name to something more normal.

I guarantee that if a Muslim family named their child Osama Bin Laden, that child would not be taken away on the basis of the name alone. While I do not agree with the choice of baby names in this instance by any stretch of the imagination, I do object to the government singling out one extremist group over another.

Since the parents are keeping quiet about it and the Authorities are saying why

Has anyone thought that maybe they where taken for reasons other than their names. Come on people think about it.
Something else is going on here that they are not releasing to the public.

skipper is right, there is something not being reported here.
Parents that think it's "funny" to name their kids names to get their asses beat on the playground by other kids, probably beat them at home.

Uh, actually it says a lot about the parents... and yes, they are unfit. Do you truely think a person that shows that poor of judgement and restraint shows good judgement and restraint in other parts of their life? Of course not... the kids were taking away because they're being abused... let's bet $20 virtual dollars on that and see how the story pans out.

Not directed at YOU Purple Gurl, but to the morons who apparently didn't read the story... They did say the reason was not given, nor are the parents talking about it. I'm sure if it was due to the name, the parents would be talking. To those of you who can't read... give it a shot before you comment, otherwise many of use will just assume your an idiot.

We're all curious, but I doubt they can state the reason legally. What strikes me odd is that the parents are not saying why either, which leads me to believe that they know they did something wrong and were probably advised to keep their mouth closed.

I'll bet you $20 virtual dollars as well.
