Why did she finally come forward now. Sounds to me like it was to get back at him. She is 18 now and was having the affair as a legal adult then all the sudden she felt it was important to turn him in. I bet she didn't get her way about something and decided to teach him a lesson. His fault for allowing himself to be in that situation but still i don't feel sorry for her.

I think it's really sad that people are questioning this girls motivation in telling her story to police. I'm sure there are multiple reasons she waited to tell, one might be not going to the school anymore. Regardless of why or when she chose to tell HE WAS WRONG. Mr. Jannsen is the adult in this situation and he is the one capable and responsible for not allowing this to occur. The victim is 16 years old, that is not an adult. He was in a position of authority over her, if he lost everything he worked so hard for good. He deserves nothing less, he should in no way be allowed access to our children, clearly he is unable to make good choices.

This is very sick man, that could be anyones daughter (even yours) i wont even take the case on this one, im not saying its not the girls fault but as the social worker has said the freak was the adult in the situation, even though the girl wanted his meat inside her....just saying...its very wrong and who knows there could be one of these cases happening in your children's school and not yet been discovered (or told on)...

I don't see what's so wrong with sleeping with 16 year olds I mean c'mon I do it all the time... they're tight and for the most part your almost assured to not catch diseases... and plus its fun pickin cherry's...tasty.. :)

I think that girl, I KNOW, did it on purpose. THEY ARE TOGETHER NOW! SHES A BACKSTABBER! at sixteen, i knew what i was doing, and iknew having sexual realtions with a ateacher is WRONG! she destroyed his family. His wife and children shouldn't of had to live with that. SHES DUMB!

Both were wrong! She for offering herself to the man. It would have been wrong had she offered herself to a teen. Sex outside of marriage is WRONG,WRONG, WRONG! It is SIN, SIN, SIN! He was wrong for cheating on his wife whether it was with an adult or a 16 yr old! SIN! Both will give an account of their lives lived while on this earth. Both need to REPENT and ASK FORGIVENESS FOR sinning against GOD and their earthly families. It would be wonderful to have all people move their standards back to what the Bible teaches.

i love how people try to say she was a "victem" because she wasnt she knew exactly what she was doing and i hope people look at her and say exactly what needs to be said i know that when i see this girl on the street i let her know exactly how WRONG it was for her to go threw with this relationship and that she is just as guilty as he is
