Attempted to steal sounds like a DA that has a personal vendetta against a man who has given 10 years of unpaid volunteer work for this community. What a way to pay him back!!!! Not to mention all the people in this community who want to believe the worse in another person. Who wrote this untrue article ? You didn't the courage to sign it.... Jackie Kuhn

Sounds like a slanderous law suite against the person who wrote this article since he embellished the charge. Who is the writer of this article?

do you suppose that they will write a story about how tax payer dollars have been wasted time and time again by an unqualified DA, who is only trying to make a name for himself at the taxpayers expense and by slandering people who have given 10 years of unpaid volunteer work to that piece of SHIT county.

The indictment came from a Grand Jury of 12 people from the community, who heard the facts and saw the evidence. It is not the will of the D.A. to indict or not indict, it was the grand jury, intelligent, neutral people from the community that saw enough evidence to make the indictment. The evidence is there or there would not have been an indictment.

Attempted theft from a non-profit organization is illegal. The D.A does not write the law, he is charged with enforcing it. It would have been real theft if EMS would have not smelled a rat and paid the money, and the charges would be to a higher degree. Everyone involved with this has done what was right, except the fire chief.

The fire chief is not in charge of invoices! Charging the wrong person is illegal... Put a name buy your comment, coward!

The more I read (Reality's) post the more it reminds me of the challenged people that are out there in this county!! Who are you to know the whole story and what kind of coward can't post their name??
How is that you think you know everyone involved in this case and their quilt or innocence?? Could there be a leak in that fine DA's office? Or is this coming from another fine branch of our wonderful county ( Waller EMS )???
I can't help but ponder on what kind of person can make all these tall accusations but has to stay hidden in the dark, LIKE A RAT!!!

Anyone can be indicted, especially when you are not given the chance to defend yourself. In the United States on America you are innocent until proven guilty,,,,unless you live in Waller county...

. What did the fire chief attempt to steal?? Do you realize how stupid you sound? Did he personally ask you for money for the fire department ? Are you saying he is Robin Hood? So are you saying when Sprint over charges me I can press charges against them for attempted to steal from me??

Whether to Prosecute

Why is that the DA needed to take.this before so many Grand Jurys until he could finally get one to indict?? Can this (Reality) answer that for us? Why didn't Mr. Mathis call any witnesses for this last Grand Jury? Maybe.... He didn't want them to hear the whole story as did the 3 Grand Jurys before them that couldn't get an indictment!! If he had so much evidence what actually was the reason for the first few.Grand Jurys not giving one?? I'll be waitibg to hear from you REALITY!

Attached is an article written about the many reasons (Personal or Political) behind many prosecutors actions........
Just a little food for thought

Prosecutors have a lot of discretion on whether to charge a defendant and which offenses they wish to pursue. Here are some of the most important factors to a prosecutor:Political Aspirations: prosecutors often run for office or seek political appointments. As a result, they are keenly aware of the image prosecuting a particular offense sends the community. Even if the evidence is questionable, if there is considerable community outrage, a prosecutor may decide to pursue a case. Alternatively, certain crimes will almost always be prosecuted, because not prosecuting them sends a bad message (e.g., DUIs).Office Policies: prosecution offices often have policies regarding which crimes they want to prosecute. There may be a push to prosecute a certain kind of crime or a policy to not prosecute other crimes that the office considers less important.Prosecutor's Notion of Justice: prosecutors are people, and just like everyone else have beliefs and ideas about right and wrong. On one hand, it may lead a prosecutor to pursue a case more aggressively than may be warranted by the facts. On the other hand, it may lead to a prosecutor filing lesser charges or choosing not to pursue a case where the prosecutor thinks justice will still be served even though no one is charged with a crime.

Well said Brandy! I've heard many people in the community have questions regarding the EMS. While the fire departments clearly volunteer their time for zero reimbursement, Bo Hashall is paid $50,000.00 for having a comparable job to the fire chief's in this county.... Could EMS be caught with their hand in the tax payers non profit cookie jar?? As far as the DA goes, he has everyone's cousin sister, daughter and Bo's wife working in the court house. I know Wayne Dolcefino would be interested in this dirty court house, he is already involved in the dump mess!!

I do believe they've woke a sleeping dragon..... And I personally will not stop even after this mess is cleared up! I'm a very honest and passionate person and now I am fully committed to helping ALL those in this county with all of the injustices done to them.
