If I were the family of Threasa Parker I would check with the property owner to see who had the hunting lease on that land. It was my knowledge that law enforcement members did during the time she disappeared and still possibly. God Bless her family!

It will be interesting to find out who found it, what condition it was in, does it seem to have been moved there, etc. It seems unlikely that a body would not have been scattered by animals if it had been there that long. Maybe it will bring out some evidence that will give information that makes things more clear and undeniable. Even though most people believe it was one person, what if they are wrong? What if it really was someone else?

A farmer who leases the land for crops saw a jaw bone and called police. The people who lease that property for the hunting rights have ties to law enforcement. I have no idea specifically where the body was found, but the hunters have been cleaning up and clearing on that property for yrs. The "junk pile" as locals call it has been set on fire also a time or two. If I were family I'd ask property owner who's names were on the hunting lease. Believe one was even a GBI agent.

Why does everything have to be a conspiracy? Parker has already been found guilty and is serving time. He was also from this area and knew it well. Give it a rest already and have some respect for her family.

This family has been through ENOUGH! Who gives a $hit if law enforcement had hunting rights on that property, or not? Her husband has already been convicted. He did it! Everybody knows he did it! RIP Theresa

Not saying I think he didn't do it, just that more people may have been involved. As I have lost a family member to unclear cicumstances, I just thought the family might like to know more about the areas occupants and what they've been doing up there on the property for the last few yrs. They were very protective of keeping everyone out of there and one time even was going to get land owner to petition to have the road closed from the public. Just always found that strange, BTW if our commisioner would keep that road maintained there probably would be less "trouble" on that road, it could at least be patroled.

Although everyone wants to know what really happened to Theresa, the only ones that should have any kind of interest or right to know the truth is the Loving family that she was taken away from. Everyone else need to leave it alone and let them catch their breath. How would all of you feel it Theresa was one of your family and everyone in Gods country was butting their noses in making things worse by all of this speculation. Let them deal with this and Please let Theresa RIP. After all she and this family have been through; that is the very least that we as a community can give them. We all have our opinion of what happened, and about our corrupt local law enforcement, just keep it to your self. That is the last thing this family needs right now. GOD BLESS THE FAMILY OF THERESA, MAY THEY FIND PEACE AND STRENGTH TO ENDURE.

"Jes" don't think it was an insult. Just a correction, it sounded as if you meant he was from where Threasa Parker was found. I may be mistaken, but thought I read where he was raised 12 miles from the discovery site. It is good that SP is serving time for this heinous crime; however shouldn't it be at least looked into, his connections, if the property was indeed leased to law enforcement who may have known him? If she were my daughter,I would want everyone involved brought to justice. Hope that is already the case and her family gets all the answers the want/need for closure. I am sorry for her family and their loss.

I sincerely apologize for my curt response to your post. It was spontaneous and emotionally charged. I hope everyone rallies around them for support. I hope they sleep through the night in peace, and remember her laughing. I hope the beautiful qualities about her run through the minds of her co-workers, friends, and family, instead of dark, sinister speculations about what might have happened.

Call me oldfashioned, but when someone calls another or others "dumbasses" I take it as an insult. Especialy when it was un-provoked in nature. But hey, I don't hold a grudge! besides, the real monster here is Sam, right? Unless you count Ben Chafin who, when the heat came onto him left Georgia and went to Alabama which is just a stone throw away from where they found the remains.

BTW He can't close a road that has been deeded to the county. The commisioner would have to do that, which would make that a public matter since taxpayer dollars pay to have the road maintained and patroled. Also there is more than one property owner who has intrest in that county road, so whomever you think HE is isn't the only propert owner on Fullerton road.

According to GA easement Law any untended county rd which leads onto or crosses any private property reverts to the sole use of the owner of said property by right of use after 7 years...right of use means that the property owner or his agents are the ONLY ones using that particular rd.

I know this because a former county rd crosses my property and a neighbor wanted an easement onto his property from our driveway, and he believed that since our driveway used to be a county rd that he had easement rights because of that...it was ours due to right of use and I proved this and forced him to purchase an easement from us.
