Family says pet dog was shot
#1 Jan 31, 2010
I am sorry for the loss of your beloved pet. I watched the video and I found the Sheriffs interview to be disturbing. The shooting of a pet in its own yard means that there NEEDS to be stricter laws as far as hunting in North Carolina. What if it was a human child? I think the Sheriff needs to realize this is 2010 and Willow Spring is not longer farms and woodlands. People should not be allowed to "hunt" that close to ones property. The entire thing is disgusting. Again, sorry for the loss of Monster.

Is Willow Spring close to New Paltz, NY? Why not go ahead and criminalize guns, as should be well possible at this point in history. Anyone caught with one would immediately be treated as one caught with a drug, as a criminal, whether they perpetuated a criminal act or not.
The Sheriff's interview is ALWAYS disturbing. That's how they keep a job. If you are not disturbed, why would one be paranoid enough to sanction such amounts of law enforcement that do not retain the quality of life of their citizens and more often than not prosecute them amorally, irrationally, or illegally.
