Hurricane Irene leaves Duke, Durham largely unharmed
The only damages Duke sustained during the Category 1 storm Saturday were two fallen trees near East Campus, said Vice President for Human Resources Kyle Cavanaugh, who also acts as emergency coordinator for the University.

What a shame! Duke is behind the gentrification of Durham and like Nimrod of old, they will be scattered to the four corners of the earth
