There is no Gunter/Melton Cemetery in Newton County. The name of the cemetery on F.M. 692 North of Burkeville, Texas is ( The Gunter Family Cemetery), please respect the people buried in this cemetery by using the correct name. Please don't use The Rootslady's fictional name.

Not only is there no Gunter/Melton Cemetery, there is also no Melton Creek Cemetery. Someone in our county government doesn't respect the people of Newton County, or our County's History. The Gunter Family still owns this cemetery and are deeply hurt by these people's abuse. Anyway go out and pay your respects and try to honor the dead by making these cemeteries places to go to and not places to avoid.

There is no Melton Creek Cemetery in Newton County Texas. The name is an act of intentional Fraud and deception. The cemetery where all these geneologist seem to be pointing to is named the Gunter Cemetery of Burkeville, Texas 75932. Whoever is responsible for creating this fraudulant name should be arrested. None of the people buried in the Gunter Cemetery asked to be buried in a cemetery named Melton Creek Cemetery and none of their family members paid for them to be buried in a cemetery named Melton Creek cemetery. Whoever is responsible for calling my family's cemetery Melton Creek cemetery must realize that you are commiting a crime and defacing a cemetery. This is not funny, it is distasteful, disrespectful, and illegal. Not to mention that you are desecrating a cemetery.

Well! I don't know about all that, but if your trying to find anything in Newton County Texas ,or just trying to get some information and that includes public records. You need to go to the people involved and ask them directly. Otherwise you may be looking at fraudulant information and yes that includes public records. Filing information in Newton County seems to be like reading gossip because by the time it gets printed on the record someone has actual changed the information to say something that may not be accurate at all. And do not get the County Officials mad at you, because they will make you pay for it. I wish someone in Austin would notice the descrepancies that have and are being made. These people are doing everything they can to change the history in this county. Instead of following the law they bend it, instead of telling the truth they fudge it. If they call me for jury duty and it involves the county or even the local state officials word on something. I will dismiss it without hesitation. This county seems to be a bunch of liars, and are not trustworthy at all. They make a fine example of family values for this state. Every lawyer in the surrounding area will tell you that they distrust the Newton County justice System. Well! Anyway if you are looking for the place someone is buried then come to Newton County because that will be the only way you can find the person that you are seeking.

It appears that if you intend to visit a cemetery in East Texas that you should allow yourself a lot of time to just finding it. And there are several reasons for my saying that and one is that you will have trouble finding which road will take you there and then you will find it hard to identify the cemetery in some instances, because of disputes over the names have arisen since the 911 addressing monsters have been unleashed on society. In the Old days the government followed the law, and today they are just trying to dictate to the people. 911 addressing officials have preempted laws and civil rights of the citizens in East Texas. They have a 911 system but it does not work due to the confusing road names and that now they are losing phone lines to pay for the system. There is no law that says that you have to dial 911 in an emergency, especially if you do not have a phone. I want these people to understand that my family started the phone system and the fire department and the electric company in Newton County Texas. And now I no longer have a phone, or donate to the fire department, and most of my family has stopped donating to the fire department and spending any money in Newton County Texas except for property tax. They will be removing their landlines by the year 2012. Since most of them only talk to each other and they live in the area they will simply wait to visit like they did in the past. Some of our cousins are trying to find another source for electricity and mail service. We are doing this because our government does not want to communicate with us but to a piece of property and make us slave to that property. 911 addressing as implemented in East Texas amounts to a public seizure of private property and is in violation of federal law. They are trying to set a dangerous precedent and the obama administration has failed to put them in check. And Rick Perry had better stop admiring himself in the mirror because he will go down in history as the governor who failed to protect the citizen's from political abuse. This action by the 911 addressing authorities seems so inocent but it is the worst violation of civil rights to come along since this country was started. And whether they believe it or not it has been the trigger that started this spiraling downward in the ECONOMY. Go to a cemetery and visit the graves of our forefathers and you will find more truth there than you will in our society. They left this world with nothing but their deeds and now our government is trying to steal that. I do not care if you like the King James Bible or any other christian Bible for that matter, but there is more truth in that book than in all our government records combined.

Well! It looks like the U.S. Government has finally taken notice of the illegal actions being taken by the county officials in Texas. I sincerely hope that they bust these leaders who are responsible for committing fraud. This Cr #### addressing is a real crime also because they did not have the legal right to rename any named road in Newton County, and actually broke the very law that they claim gave them the right to rename roads. DETCOG will just have to get over the fact that they are not dictators in a free society. And besides the use of Cr#### is a safety hazard to the citizens who live there and anyone coming to visit them because they are not the real names of these roads and the county does not have the legal authority to break a contract by federal law even if they had passed a state law saying that they could. Federal law will always hold sway over state law. To the 911 addressing authority and other committees in Newton County Texas, you can not break the law on record and expect to get away with it. Renaming the roads is bad, but renaming a family cemetery is outragious, and about the nastist thing that has been done except for a public lynching. Putting up signs that do not have the correct name of the roads on them is disturbing the peace. Using the law to enforce fraudulant names is also illegal and unconstitutional, and the sheriff better understand that he broke the law and the only thing keeping him from being arrested is that public officials have a certain amount of immunity unless it can be proven that they did the crime intentionally. The A.G. of the U.S. is investigating this county because of the voter I.D. bill that was passed by the state, and the loss of registered voters compared to records from social security recipients. There are still checks and balances in our system of government you know. The numbers just do not add up.

I wish the state or federal government would stop whoever is trying to change the real names of places on public records. This kind of action is called fraud. There is no Melton Creek cemetery nor has there ever been a Melton Creek Cemetery on F.M. 692 in Newton County Texas. There is also no road called Cr 2132 on F.M. 692, the roads that TEXDOT has been so nasty to put these signs on have REAL NAMES, and not these fake names that are in violation of State and Federal law in some instances. The Road that TEXDOT has placed a sign saying CO RD 2132 is actually legally to be called Gunter Road as per the contract easement with Newton County Texas. To call it this other name is a direct violation of the U.S. and Texas Constitution as well as not being in compliance with the Texas 911 addressing statute. Quite simply Newton County can not change the name on this road because they made a contract for the name Gunter Road when they adopted it. The current Newton County Commissioner's court is in violation of the LAW and the current sheriff refuses to force them to correct their error. He is in other words intentionally allowing the commissioner's court of Newton County Texas to violate the peace. Any act that disturbs the citizens every day life is called disturbing the peace, but I have also been informed whether they are aware of it or not it has caused the County to be guilty of criminal trespass which is also not being enforced by the current sheriff. And he was made aware of this problem several years ago and instead of fixing it, he used his office to threaten the owner of the property. The state of Texas wonders why things like the Byrd incident occurr. Well! You do not have to look no farther because you are ignoring civil rights abuses by the local authorities. Under 911 addressing they only had to put a number in front of the roads name per address. What reason did they have other than changing the name for calling this road CR. They absolutely had no legal right to change this roads name as well as others. There is someone systematically trying to undermine certain families history to boost others. They did not change every roads name just the ones that the members of this court had a beef with in the past. This is called discrimination in a Government program which is also very illegal. And you have allowed the sheriff of Newton County Texas to ignore this breach of the public trust. The current so-called recession is being caused by these things. An attack on this county's communications and transportation has occured and you are ignoring it because of a corparation like DETCOG is covering up this action. There are numerous other acts of fraud that are occuring because of the states inaction to correct these things.

To whom it may concern if you do not see a for sale sign on a house and you see a no trespassing sign at the drive ways entrance then there is a very good chance that the house is not for sale and you could be guilty of trespassing in Newton County Texas. I do not know who raised some of these people but you could learn to show some respect and consideration of thought like I was taught by my parents and I was raised in this county. A house is for sale when the owner puts up a for sale sign. And not because of someone trying to be a bully and getting their friends to use their office to intimidate someone. You should also ask for a price before telling someone you will go to the bank and pay them for it. It would help you in a long way to buy something if you know if you can actually afford it instead of dreaming of a price out of thin air. Thats how the civilized world works anyway.
