Man hangs himself in jail

Police found the body of Charles David Jackson from Cayuga in his Vermillion County Jail cell.

The kid stole a golf cart and ran it into a creek while he was drinking. Another boy was involved too. Very sad ending.

you guys are so horrible you guys dont even know him He was one of my good friends he was always up beat and happy and if someone was having a bad day he would always to try and make them laugh he was always the class clown. He didnt deserve to die.. and some people cant help what they do maybe he was having some kind of problems or dealing with something that still doesnt give u the right to talk like that towards him.. or about anyone... what if that was someone in your family would like it if everyone was talking crap about them no so dont say nothing at all...

They don't have the resources to sit and watch someone who is showing no signs of mental distress to see if they are going to hang themselves with the clothes on their backs.

As usual the story is not reported clearly. Why would a kid hang himself because he was caught stealing a golf cart. The mental anguish over not getting away with the golf cart is pathetic.
