Brad Ellsworth did not seem to care about hoosiers when he voted for the healthcare bill. Knowing he has no concearn for us, he can forget about a senate seat.

What he did was not representative of my wishes as a constituent. With any luck his political career will be over soon.

Have you ever been told to "write your congressman" well, we all really thought it was a waste of time. I wrote Mr. Ellsworth pleading that he not vote yes on the healthcare bill. He did write back, yesterday. All those that did not vote as their constituents wished should be sent packing. After all, they are reprsentatives. If they dont represent--they gotta go

He may not have voted the way you wanted him to, but he voted the way I wanted him to. He can't please everyone and he did the right thing by voting for it. I am happy he supported the Healthcare bill and I think this is a giant step forward to help those Americans that cannot afford it.

I have always found healthcare to be very affordable as it is. I pay about $500 per month to cover my family of 4. That's cheap as hell if you ask me. The deductibles are low and the service has always been top notch.

I'm dreading the government getting more involved. That's a recipe for disaster. Just look at the Medicare and VA programs. They are complete catastrophes. What makes anyone believe it's going to get better?

wow jimmy...you must love the welfare system too. Go ahead jimmy and think it is good for a socialist healthcare. When we are in the same shape as Europe, and Russia, I certainly believe you will see the truth then. I bet you are either unemployed or a union man arent you? and be honest...its okay you are in the safety nest

I participated in a so-called Health Care Forum with Ellsworth and his reported 18 office workers and was not impressed. With 18 people around you would think that at least one of them could answer his phone or at least clear the answering machine occasionally. I called and called to no avail, and ended up e-mailing, but my voice was not heard. Ellsworth was bought and was worthless as a representative and will only do more harm in the Senate. Let's Flip the White House in November!!!!

what does being a union man have to do with it? maybe jimmy just believes every american should be able to recieve health-care. I believe most union men already have good health-care, and these union men you seem to dis-like so much are concerned that non-union men or women recive the same good health-care. maybe jimmy does not listen to rush and fox news and does his own thinking. I bet you watch fox news every night or are a non-union coal miner. and be honest you are in the safety net.(nest)?

I have no problems with Unions, IN GENERAL. I do have a problem with SEIU, an organization tied in with ACORN and promoting the SOCIALIST agenda of the white house and President O"Bama!

The recent Health Care Reform Bill in fact did do a few good things in allowing additional coverage of some citizens, but the DOWN SIDE of this HORRIBLE law is just overwhelming! We do not live in UTOPIA and we cannot afford this program. It WILL BANKRUPT the country. Anyone who believes the "pie-in-the-sky" budget estimates associated with this bill are, as O'Reilly says it "drinking Cool Aid". Just take a look at the original budget estimates for Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid if you don't believe me. All three programs are actually BANKRUPT now and only being floated by continued deficit spending. Now look for the VAT Tax that is coming. This will certainly proove that O'Bama is a lying SOB and in fact all americans are facing higher taxes regardless of income.

Ellsworth, is a SNAKE, he proved this last summer and fall when he refused to meet with his constituants to discuss the matter, at least until he had a Forum with a Packed House of pre-selected lemmings so that he didn't really have to answer any tough questions. JUST LIKE O"BAMA has ALWAYS done. Every one of O'Bamas "town hall" meetings, prior to during his campaign and since he has been in office, have been sharades. Every one has hand pick supporters in order to make it appear he has broad support. This is all a staged event.

Ellsworth needs to be sent packing back to Evansville with his hat in his hand.

Well, he really voted his supporters up the river and he too should go. Back to Evansville, unemployed but no doubt richer for his experience with Washington lobbyist

He needs to go! He did not respond to a written inquirys. I guess because I'm not a convict or an unemployed loser looking to be a ward of the Obama regime, I obviously do not rate an answer from Ellsworth. Since he only does what Obama says, I can only assume Obama didn't give him permission to answer any questions that came from an actual taxpayer.

Ellsworth did reply to my email. Or at least one of his aids replaced one name with mine and sent me a cookie cutter answer to what I wasnt even asking. Really makes me feel that he does care. And Serious or serisous. Thanks for pointing out I fat fingered the name. However, show me a union man that can think for himself and doesnt buy into all that crap that they are fed at their meetings. Why dont you try some Fox news, and or 98.5 talk radio. Maybe you can have an open mind and listen. I am willing to bet you will not hear Rush or Glen Beck say the things that your beloved chris matthews says they do. However, Chris Matthews did state that the conservatives are not expressing the good side of a social state. Yeah move to Russia or China to get your socail state and let us live the way or forefathers ment for us. Oh and I am a police officer, and former union electrician. FORMER because they arent telling me who to vote for!!!!!

As a matter of fact I do watch fox news, as well as msnbc and cnn and I figure the real truth is some where in between what they are saying. It is just like with (2) children, no one tells the whole truth it is some where in the middle. I am a union man and I have never been told who to vote for and even if I were, they would have no way of knowing. I have voted for both republicans and democrats in my life, I make my own decisions. If you gave up a good paying job just because they told you who to vote for, I think you made a mistake. They are not in going to walk in the voting booth with you. I thought police officers had unions. Every human being has free will, and believe me a lot of union men think for themselves. Just because they dont think the way you want them to, does not mean they do not think for themselves. If you were a union electrician out of 725, I know for a fact they have not always supported democrats, they have supported republican canidates in the past.
