The idea that manslaughter should even be considered in this case is a complete outrage. I guess when the victim is gay all the perp has to do is use a gay panic defense. Then it's not "murder", but "manslaughter". Kid oughta count his blessings that he's not getting death row for what he did.

I agree. It IS an outrage. This is obviously a cas of premeditated murder. I remember hearing about this murder on the news, within an hour of it being committed, and I have followed this case closely since then.

This little monster deserves life in prison with no parole. There are thousnads of juveniles already serving this sentence in the U.S., and if any cas cries out for this penalty, it is this one.

Right, "voluntary manslaughter" is the one where you pre meditate the murder and when you bring a gun to school to murder the victim and when bigots don't much like the victim's behavior.

Hopefully, the judge's decision will be overturned. If this case is not a clear case of premeditated murder, then no case is.

Pay no attention to Abe...in a little less than 2 years he's posted just under 12,000 anti-gay comments. Only someone who is EXTREMELY insecure in their own sexuality would do such a thing. Know that he is miserable inside no matter how much he denies it.

His posts all seem meant to antagonize. The best I can do at this point is to try to ignore him.
