Oscar Duran was a great man and a great friend who will always be missed and can not be replaced. He was someone that would go out of his way to help someone no matter what day or time it was or what he was doing. In the short time i got to know him and was able to have the privledge to work by his side i came to respect him and was able to consider him a friend. His passion to work was like no other, we at Ramco Roustabput will miss him dearly. He had become our brother, our shoulder to lean on and the one person we could always count on. He was man of vast knoledge and wasnt afraid to pass it on. His passing saddens our hearts! Our prayers go out to his family, i know he is in a better place, with God.

Oscar Duran did not deserve to die this way. He was a person that always put others first, was what I got to know from my husband who worked under his supervision at the City of Del Rio Streets Dept. He had a big heart and would go out of his way to help anyone in need. My husband Osvaldo, has dear memories of him and will never forget him. We will continue to pray for his family, that God may give them the strength and courage they need to get by without their loved one. Yes he is in a better place, yet, he did not deserve this. This is on behalf of my husband, who is really torn up since he heard the terrible news, while out wishing his excoworker a Happy New Year. As they both reminisced about the good times spent working with their exboss (Duran), was when they received the phone call with the terrible news. We are all very privileged to have known him, and for my husband to have worked with him. He will never be forgotten!
