The city was doing WITH Flores. It was his misinformation (and Garza's refusal to adhere to federal law) about the term "shall" that cost the city $25,000 in a needless election.

Let me share another perspective on Mr. Flores "misinformation" on the above. As an officer of the court Mr. Flores bears an ethical responsibility to up hold the law as written. I propose for your consideration that Mr. Flores crossed the line of sound ethical responsibility. The night FORMER ex-mayor Garza and his stooges voted against the Single Member District election petition to amend the city charter, Mr. Flores did so knowing full well the written law. Instead Mr. Flores chose to tell council what they wanted to hear and not what they needed to hear. He chose to play politics and represent the self serving interest of council, and failed miserably the taxpapers of the City of Uvalde. Any appointed or elected official that mis-uses $25,000 of our tax dollars directly or in-directly deserves no less. A court of law vindicated the taxpayers position.

I agree. I would like to know is reasoning for doing so. I can guess why Garza didn't feel need to approve the petition, but what did Flores owe Garza or the council to make him compromise his ethics, not just once, but on three occasions during the attempted passing of the SMD petition?

yeah...with all the $$$ he was charging the city, they can afford to dress well and drive that yellow towncar of theirs. lol They are the only people who dress up in suits and all to attend church on Saturday evening. Come on, loosen up Flores', you can dress casual once in a while. I wonder if they dress like that at home??? Lol
