It means that injustice is rampant in our world. Cruelty does not exclude the unborn children who are massacre at an annual rate of 1.5 million souls per year in our country. It means many animal rights proponents neglect dreadfully the reality of the "human condition" in their zeal for other animals.
I would deliberately choose an unborn human child over a chicken each and every time without question.
Just the Facts. A human life IS superior to a chicken or bovine.
Nobody said a chicken or a cow is superior to a human. And its a false choice that you state has to be made. We don't need to be cruel to animals to be just to humans. On the contrary, I feel strongly that being humane to animals extends greater justice to humans.

I never voted for Ronald Reagan for President. His economic policies however proved to be right for our nation and our citizens. I am a Christ follower every second of everyday.

I will vote for John Kasich. He is the better candidate for Governor in the State of Ohio during this economic crisis.

Strickland, while a preacher, has proven ill equipped to handle the office of Governor during this economic collapse. Regardless, whose fault the collapse ultimately is, this Governor at this moment FAILED to respond, FAILED to act, FAILED to take leadership and lead the citizens of Ohio through this tumult.

John Kasich will get my vote because he HAS balanced a government budget, expanded economic growth, and created millions of jobs on the national level.

Bullwinkle the moose and Rockey the squirrel were actually a pretty funny kids cartoon. I did watch and chuckle at their comedic story lines. Pretty funny stuff especially as you get older. Their use of adult humor mixed with child humor was splendid much like Animaniacs by Spielberg. Rocky and Bullwinkle were the original.

The Strickland Adminstration handling of our current economic crisis, however is deplorable.

What is the 30% of state government Kasich will cut in order to fulfill his statement of getting rid of the state income tax? Or what taxes will Kasich raise to fill the gap?

Strickland or Kasich will have to manage some draconian cuts in State government budgets. The smoke and mirror, or Washington DC bailout gimmicks simply are avoiding the hard decision. Strickland tried this approach last budget and the result was to simply move the debt to another area for taxpayers to pay excessively.

Kasich has promised to give his plan BEFORE the general election in November 2010. If you have research his congressional record in dealing with budgets he does offer some creative, innovative, and effective solutions to balance our national budget under President Clinton. He was effective and bi-partisan in his solutions. Ohio needs this type of experience and cooperation with the legislators in Ohio.

My greatest fear is that Kasich will win the Governors office and the State Republicans will win back the House of Representatives and deny solutions to this extreme economic crisis in Ohio. Everyone has a stake, and everyone will have to reduce their programs and budgets in the short-term to balance and re-invent how Government is funded, how Government works for the citizenry, and the over all purpose of State Government. I believe we are WAY to expansive into the markets, and social services for the people of Ohio. We need to allow, monitor, and hold accountable citizens to work for our State.(my idea, not necessarily Kasich)

Ohio IS a great natural resource. Ohio is VERY capable of making and implementing the tough decisions NOW to secure our State for our children. With new leadership, new ideas, and some business creativity OHIO can once again be the LEADER of Business, Jobs, and growing economic properity for our people.

From the moral point of view, veganism takes objection to the practice of factory farming, in which millions of animals are kept in cramped or unhygenic quarters for years on end. Egg-laying chickens, for example, are packed by the hundreds of thousands into tiny cages where they can barely move. Because such proximity can cause chickens to get aggressive, it is standard procedure to remove the tips of their beaks at birth using a painful cutting device. The clipped beaks can get infected and lead to horrible diseases.

The list of reasons that we don't need another factory farm.
Cruel, inhumae treatment.
