This is SOP for people in govt. They retire, get full benefits, then get re-appointed to another govt job to further soak the taxpayer.

He looks even more homeless then Ted " Golden Voice" Williams.
Maybe a shave and a haircut and removal of the beard will make a few crows & squirrels homeless. Candidate for an Extreme Makeover !!!!!!

I think that we might come up with a law that says. You can only collection one government pension whether it is a federal, state, city, county. You may collected the largest one but no other one.

The problem with county work is that it is to top heavy and they clash with the people who really know how to do the job and basically the good workers leave on to have to be replaced by 3 workers or more been there done that.

Do you seriously think anybody reads the crap you write? Instead of sticking your unwanted nose here in Ohio where it doesn't belong...why don't you do something about all those frozen oranges & high admission charges at Dinseyworld.

You are rude and before you engage in a conversation you know nothing about and looking like the a-- you sound like. I happen to have retire from Franklin County and happen to know what I am talking about unlike you. People move, but I can guess you have no concept thoughts other than to be negative about a situation that has been out of control for years

Resident of Many years. So if you worked 25 yrs for Ford and got a pension and then did 10 for another company you should not be allowed to collect any retirement once you left that job ?
Even if you paid into it ?
Same difference.
If a person works 30 yrs and is retirement age with the State of Ohio and then accepts a job with a county or city they should not be entitled to any benefits ?
Too many "speaking" here from the private sector are two faced.
Kasich gets a congressional pension and he will draw something after leaving office as governor
combined with his time in the state legislature.
He won't disclose it but I would bet he already gets two gov't pension checks at the 1st of every month.

Maybe with his experience as the former county engineer and his new position as commissioner he can "engineer" a way to get a medical marijuana growing commune ok'd for Union County.

You must be another one of those employees that like to get paid for nothing, so hence therefore you are nothing.
