i feel saddened for this officer....i recognize that drinking and driving is a deadly thing to do...was this her first offense? according to the paper she is a very good officer!!! could she take some leave time until this matter is resolved including therapy or rehab...if she is a committed and a good officer, then why dont we help her get back on track? and with the possibilities of reenstatement!!

How about 'integrity'. A police officer puts people in jail for drunk driving. How can they be allowed to commit the same crimes. Does that make sense?
