Klan demonstration ends with no arrests or ejections
A spokesman for the Union County Sheriff's Office said a public demonstration by the Ku Klux Klan Saturday ended with no arrests or ejections from the event.

As part timers here, we were impressed by the article in the n. ga. News expressing how the community tried to avoid the kkk rally but had to honor the KKK's Constitutuional rights. We appreciated the silent vigil as a righteous stand against virulent bigotry. Thank heavens it's over

The silent vigil was not supported or sponsored by any church group.
