Maryland Mulls Animal Abuse Registry
Pet stores and breeders could face fines up to $10,000 for selling or providing animals to persons listed on a proposed Maryland Animal Abuse Registry, or failing to check the registry, if Maryland adopts legislation currently in the state Senate.

And they should - my 7 month old golden retriever was shot 4 times and killed 300 yards behind my house on 1/4/12 - did she have no rights or say. Senator Young is even caling the bill Heidi's Law after my dog - we need to be a voice to those who do not have a voice
