Well, it seems no one else has anything else to say about the sheriff's crimes. Guess my proof was enough.

So, the department securing felony warrants without a judge's signature now seems to be accepted as truth. Like I said, it is a fact, and can be backed up with physical evidence.

So, now the question is -'What are we going to do about it?'

I'm willing to go to the GBI with my attorney, and with the evidence, but I would like to have a group of like minded people come along. If you are interested, please respond to this posting, and we'll figure out a way to get together.

Police shoot pastor dead
TOCCOA, Ga.(UPI)-- Georgia agents are investigating the death of a minister shot at a convenience store by police working undercover in a drug sting.

Jonathan Ayers, 29, pastor of the Shoal Creek Baptist Church, was shot Wednesday in the store parking lot in Toccoa, 90 miles northeast of Atlanta, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. He died at a hospital a short time later after undergoing surgery.

Ayers tried to drive away when two men with guns got out of a Cadillac Escalade. The men were plainclothes officers and they shot Ayers as he sped away, the newspaper said.

Matt Carpenter, Ayers' brother-in-law, said the minister asked paramedics if they knew who had shot him -- suggesting he did not realize the men were police officers. Carpenter said Ayers might not have heard the officers because the windows of his car were rolled up.

The shooting is being investigated by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. John Bankhead, a spokesman for the agency, said the officers were working for a tri-county drug task force and followed Ayers because he had just dropped off a woman known to be involved in drugs. Both officers are on administrative leave.

"What they saw was indicative of drug transaction," Bankhead said. "They didn't know the guy. They followed him to the convenience store and tried to arrest him.

Hey Uncle Lawrence -

Seems that the GBI might be interested after all. I'm going to let them finish getting headlines in Cochran before I give them headlines in J'ville.

I heard the farm got raided again; they came to get Tawnee for being an underage teenager, even though she's been on the farm since she was three, but now that Yonder's gone, and Daddy's working, they didn't think she should be living on the farm without adult supervision. She is more "adult" that most people twice her age. The cops told Jimbo he has to leave--where? He can't even walk ten feet without help--they'll take a young lady, the only one there to help the old man, but won't put him in a care facility, only tell him he has to leave, and he's been sitting in the same spot for ten years and wants to stay there. What's wrong with these folks? They run off the only ones in the county who truly care for the needy, homeless, the despised and afflicted, and provide for the outcast of the earth and don't themselves know how to care for the ones who are left behind without their guru. It is so sad. They put Woody in Brian center; I am sure he loves it there.
Twiggs County has been misspelled lately, it begins with a capital "P" nowadays.--Uncle L.

I realize this comment was made in August 2009 - but at the end of last year (2011) my husband and I ran into similar problems with the Twiggs Co. sheriff's dept. There were alot of procedures that were handled in a manner that conflicted with our rights as American citizens. We would very much like to see Twiggs Co. have to go before the GBI to answer for the way they conduct their business, and all the illegal procedures that we have seen in our short time of living in the Twiggs Co. area. We have proof of wrongdoing and would like a chance to get together with you and/or your attorney. Hope we are not responding too late.
