Well I am a student at twiggs high school and there were other things that happended like this both tuesday and monday and I'm not supporting any of their wrong doings but twiggs just need to become more aware of what students are doing while they are here.

Well I think that this is proposterous. Kids have no home training they come to school to do such things and it makes it look like the school just don't care what the students do. I think that this is a serious situtation that needs to be brought upon the parent(s) to talk to their kids about, because this kind of behavior just does not need to continue in a educational environment.

I go to school there too and why should Twiggs watch students more? Why do students smoke in the bathrooms when they know they will get in trouble? We know these things are going on, but if we don't report it we are just as guilty as the one's doing it! Let's protect our school! You can put that incident on whomever but the real blame lies with those idiots who did it. I know both of them and they really need to be ashamed!

It is impossible for staff to watch every nook and cranny to make sure students are behaving. Help is needed from students. I agree with "Really", if students know but don't report, they are just as guilty. School should be a safe learning environment, and by nature, many teenagers are deviant. Those who break the rules eventually get caught or reported (or should). It will not be eliminated, but it can be controlled more with the help of students. Report any inappropriate behaviors immediately to your principal or asst principal, or nearest teacher. They will handle it from there.

This isn't the first time such an incident has happened at this school. My daughter is suppose to start there in 2 years, I am afraid to send her there. This also isn't the only problem at TCCMHS, the students who have no home training and don't give a care are outweighing the ones who are there for an education. We need to get them out of there.

When you Find Utopia High, please let me know because I want to send my children there too! When you find Utopia on this earth, let me know! The issue should be they were caught and disciplined. Leave your kids in the school. Find another excuse to pull them out.

This school is one of the worst schools in the district. The dress code is a joke and the cirriculum is below standard. The first thing Twiggs Co. needs to do is Educate the School System and it's teachers. There are more illiterate kids going to school there and there SAT scores are the lowest in the country. Why are we keeping This School open when it's just wasting Tax Payers money and everyones time?
They closed the only school in the district that was actually beneficial to the kids of Twiggs Co.
I know because my child attended hoth schools and after having my child in Twiggs Co jr & high school, i had to pull her out because she wasn't learning anything, As have many other parents who cared about their childs education.

From what I understand, the principal can barely read and write. Some of the millions that Gang Mitchum robs from it's citizens should be put back into the community.

When you have criminal activity being conducted at the schools the problem becomes that of the community. The Sheriff's Office can't be held liable for things out of their control. The school systems along with every responsible individual has to play apart in educating and informing families of sexual misconduct and morals.
You can have the best of good intentions but being proactive has it's limits. So lets stop complaining and start getgting involved with trying to enlighten our children.
Preteen and teens are very curious individuals that don't always make the best decisions but we the adults can offer guidance and positive influence that will hopefully correct some of the problems.
Michael Jackson had a song called "the man in the mirror" we need to check ourselves and sweep around your on front door before we condemn people for things that you can't accomplish.
So which is more important the education of the children or you trying to make the system look bad?
Remember "it's not what your called but what you answer to."

Sea Biscut- There has been problems of this nature before even once involving a custodian. It was settled out of court so do not be blind there are problems in this school. The problems start with some students but the school needs to enforce its rulr zero tolerence . I would like to thank Miss Heights for her support and wish we had her back in the day . we need new blood in the school systeam to insure that a education is what the kids are getting no just talk of education
