Friend of the Court

I understand the State of Michigan is seeing hard times, but the Friend of the Court is not the friend to the hard-working NEVER LATE on support fathers and mothers. The FOC moves at the pace of a snail covered in molasses. They charge fees for everything! They conveniently omit information from previous orders with NO PETITIONS submitted for changes, ONLY to say for $17.50 you can Petition to put it back the way it was! Where is the justice in that? Personally, I'm tired of being screwed around with a system that is broken. Maybe, someday the people who were elected to sit in Lansing will correct the problem, but I won't hold my breath. I have always done what is right for my son, but getting screwed around by the friend of the court isn't helping out his Dad or his family. Oh, and if you want to have real fun, try reasoning with a clerk at the friend of the court and let me know how that turns out for you!

there is no fair recomendations coming from there and as a father, there is nothing you can do! They gave my x custody after admitting she had been abusive and needed medication to handle raising kids and having a job, along with a host of other sickening admitions, and the recomendations had a number of opinionated and just plain false reasons for why she recomended custody be given to the "mother". Now a year later my daughter is stealing, lying, acting violently at school, she's seen her "mother" and her boyfriend having sex, now she undresses other children and says thats what mom said boyfriends and girlfiends do! No-one will listen!!! Thank you FOC for lookin' out for my girls wellfare, she's only 7.
