Ellie Nesler, the mother who took the law into her own hands in a Northern California courtroom by shooting to death the man who allegedly molested her young son, has died.

I am a law abiding citizen. I don't litter, I obey stop signs, I don't even talk on my cell phone within Chicago city limits. If I found out that my son or daughter were inappropriately touched in any way, by any person, I would beat that individual until someone pulled me off, and I wouldn't stop until I was either subdued or that person was dead. In my opinion, it is the only justice for a person that takes it upon themselves to take the only true possession my children have- their innocence. Forget whatever this woman did with her life before or since. This pedophile is lucky to get off with a quick and easy gun-shot from this woman, because if it were me - I'd be breaking bones and yanking out eye balls. Call me sick, but it is what I feel is right.

How solid was the evidence against the accused molester? Innocent people are accused of crimes all the time. Take what happens in an ugly divorce for example. False charges fly back and forth. For all you know, the man shot in the back of the head was innocent. Being charged does not mean being guilty. How would you feel if you beat up an innocent person because your child lied about being molested in order to get attention?

I can tell when my child has a splinter, I can tell when my child has done something wrong, I can tell when my child has eaten something that he shouldn't have, and I can tell when my child has a 99 degree fever. If I turn to my child and ask them what happened, I would know if it warranted a beating. Similarly, if someone, say a camp employee, put themselves in a situation that caused my child to feel that something inappropriate happened, then they should be very afraid. I have decided I will send the following letter to all people that will have contact with my child, or any children for that matter. It will read as follows and will be sent anonymously to cover those children that don't have parents so inclined to be crazy:

To Whom it May Concern:

I would like to thank you for choosing a profession or job that will directly affect the development and happiness of my child. I am sure that you have the full intentions of bettering his/her life with your knowledge and direction. However, I would like to inform that with your job comes a unique responsibility in the level of trust that has been put in your hands. If for some reason my child comes home and informs me of a situation that made them feel uncomfortable, or humiliated, and then I find out that that humilation was of a physical sexual nature, I will be forced to adorn your skull with my tire-iron. Then, just about the time I am getting out of prison, you should be getting over the drool falling from your mouth when you smile, I will then park that tire-iron on the other side of your head. Please be assured this is not an indictment on you, and is in no way accusatory. It is simply a warning to keep yourself out of any situation that might for some reason be interpreted the wrong way. Please, enjoy your work, and see you at swim practice.

It starts out so heroic, mother protecting her child, then all of a sudden it's oh yeah she makes meth in her basement and stole a car. She was on meth when she killed him and her son who later killed someone because he took his hammer or something? Oh yeah, they're poor, white trash that lived off of the government and tried to "make it rich" by going west to mine gold??? What a bunch of losers.

Driver's initial actions impacted this family for many years after his murder. I'm glad that I never had to face that situation with my children. I would want to snap also.

But, in the end, I couldn't leave my child to face life alone-which happened when she went to prison.
