My hearts goes out to this family. My husband works for the Ga DOT and mowes with one of these mowers. They are very dangerous to the operator, and the passer bys. This is just a freek accident, these mowers are equipped with chains along the bottom to keep the rocks from flying out but sometimes things can get thru these chains. They can't stop everything. My husband got so hot on one of these mowers last year that he had a heat stroke and was hospitalized for several days.. May God Bless this family in their time of loss..

I really felt for this family and I know the person on that tractor is really upset also. I hope that in the future the county will maybe come up with some kind of device to put on the mowing equipment so that this kind of freak sccident will not happen again. I know the family of this lady is very upset and wondering how such a thing could happen to a loved family member. I know it was a accident but I truly think it can be stopped from happening again. I know it has been a while since this happened but the people in my neighborhood were stunned that this could happen and I hope the family is doing well and our prayers are with them.
