Polygamist Sect Cases Begin Individual Hearings

There are 3 comments on the WOAI story from May 18, 2008, titled Polygamist Sect Cases Begin Individual Hearings. In it, WOAI reports that:

“CPS is still trying to treat them as a group”

The more than 400 children, from newborns to teens, forced from a polygamist sect's sprawling ranch into foster care have been treated as a single group of abused and at-risk kids since a raid six weeks ago. via WOAI

Single group of abused and at-risk way[kids] would mean that the Mormons did not quite comply with code of family birth and raising. Well, if they are polygamist sect how do you expect them to comply with the normal code of operation in regards to family support, birth and up bringing. You want them to live with one man and one woman with 12 kids, well, polygamy is the opposite having 6 wives or common-law relationships and having 12 kids is better, that way the mom get to work and support their off-spring and live longer because every child a woman brings into the world results in a lot of wear and tear on the mom? what do you think fat sheriff? That is how they based their interpretations of the US Constitution and reason for bringing out heavy, hard skin vehicles against a defensless religious sect in that ranch in the desert of Eldorado, Texas. Something else the Mormons did is they went to the {WELFARE} for some money because their crops were not enough to support them. I am watching the women from the web and I see some of them are bone clad over by skin. I don't know Mormons, I just don't know what to say, I know that it is a beautiful life be a polygamist, it is like having a marriage and then divorce after you had your turn at reading the newspaper and it is not until a year you get to feel your husband again, that is why women like polygamy because they get to have sex only once in a while with Abraham, the husband...I must check the SUN see what it has to say, be right back...yappphh! Its going to burn backs with little stings. Love ya! Mormon women in Texas, let me be your husband, think of me, pray with me, eat with me, everyday until you are again strong Barry Kitchkeesic-Wynn...then forget me

Wives, that is the term that matters under Texas law. Plural wives means polygamous marriage. Admitting or declaring yourself married in Texas makes your married. It's common-law marriage in Texas. We are dealing with the law as it exists today IN TEXAS. Baby daddys with children by more than one wife don't declare themselves married in Texas. Marriage laws are by state. I want marriage to go back to being nothing more than a church ritual. Civil contractual on paper unions for those who want the state in their business. So far in Texas there are no FLDS on the welfare rolls. They are parties to a $114 million trust. They can well afford their lifestyle.
