Jim Fitzer must be the biggest tool NIPSCO can he talk about how much less of a disaster this is comppared to last year...200 of the 300 homeowners who were flooded out last year are flooded out this year...propaine tanks are turned over and all the gas escapes not to mention the hazard that a floating fuel tank can cause when it hits a home at the rate the rriver is moving...when will NIPSCO sttart taking an active roll in preventing this from can be done...smarter people have run it better...maybe legislation that was removed (thanks to their lobbiest in Indianapolis) needs to be reenacted..or do we just get the pleasure of Gov. Daniels visiting for the PR and image boost.

Hey NIPSCO, looks like it might rain next Wednesday...why don't you start letting water out on Monday so that residents down river don't hafve to leave their homes. If you need help, contact the corp of engineers or the NOAA to see how much rain is expected. How many times does it talk until you get ahead of the game instead of behind it?

Hey residents of flood plains, why don't you move away from there and quit blaming NIPSCO? They answer to a lot more residents downstream than those along the Tippecanoe River. Quit blaming them for your lousy choice of home sites. It ought to be illegal to live continuously in a flood plain, period, in this day and age of environmental knowledge.
It's like getting the flu after refusing a flu shot earlier in the season. Quit bellyachin' and accept your inconvenience. No one made you live in an historic flood plain.
