Breaking News: Neldon Neal convicted of killing his wife

Neldon Neal was convicted of killing his wife in a 2007 altercation in Roby. Neal shot his wife and then led law enforcement on a two month long manhunt in the Mark Twain National Forest. He was charged with second-degree murder, but the jury decided to convict him of voluntary manslaughter. Because Neal is a persistent criminal he could be sentenced up to a life sentence, though voluntary manslaughter normally receives five to 15 years prison sentence. Neal is already serving a 17-year federal prison sentence for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Neal is to be sentenced Dec. 3.

we are new to the area. is this a relative of the same neal over on long valley rd. we had a run in with his attitude last week. i hope that the best will be done for all involved parties. whos the lady that lives up on the hill from him on long valley, we met her once, seemed real sweet, is that his wife. thanks all

The "nice" woman on the hill that you refer to is probably Kathy Cervantes, she has 5 kids that I went to school with. The neal you ran into is my dad...I'm not sure what was said or what happened, but a lot is going on in his life so he was most likely in a bad mood...hope you have a happy turkey day. oh by the way this is that man on long valley roads son Joseph Neal and that man is Narlin Neal
