Question is why would Tarrant County College South Campus hire Armando Villarreal III, a known felon to teach when there are outstanding instructors wanting jobs? Why would Tarrant County College want this story in the paper? Any why would the family want to publish such a blog http://www.thisamazingfamily.blogspot.com/ and post the copyrighted May 21, 2008 article as well as confessions of stealing plants and a puppy in a family blog? For a blog of an inspirational professor and his family see Randy Pausch's

I dont see anything wrong with the college hiring a felon. people make mistakes and should be allowed a second chance. I bet he is a great insructor. who better to teach college students then someone who has already been there. most college students are already sometimes taking the wrong turn and sometimes it helps to have someone who has already done it give that student some wisdom and keep them on the right track. kids listen to people who have already been down that road then someone who hasnt. they respond better. thats just my opinion. People change. no one knows the other persons story. just remember everyone has a story not everyone wants to listen and all you need is a second chance. have a heart.

I'm with Primo! What's the deal with promoting this guy? This is not the first article I've seen on this "Convicted Felon" He is a "Convicted Felon" got that! TCC is trying to sell him to the Public for some reason with all these "Puff Pieces". He's probably going to make a run for some office, but will need a waiver or a Law changed in order for him to do that. This is the "Softening Up" process so he will seem more acceptable to the Electorate. Hmm...I'm waiting for the Punch Line or the other Foot to fall.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Gemini

Maybe it's pre-Christmas tension but people can turn nasty in the blink of an eye today. This is especially likely if they've got a lot on their plate or they think they're very important, and you may have to treat them with kid gloves if you want to avoid getting sucked into a bad-tempered war of words. Some gentle humor may help to rescue the situation before it descends into acrimony.
