Poor reporting! The use of the word "endorsement" is misleading and a further degradation of the rights of American citizens to pray and practice their faith. Let us not confuse our right to practice our faith and our pushing our beliefs on others. The fact that those of other, non-Christian faiths are welcome to share before commissioner's meetings seems a balanced approach. It is freedom OF religion; not freedom FROM religion. Let us also recall the long history of prayer in public and political life, indeed during the founding of the very Constitution that is being used to deny civil liberties today. Alex Cury needs to study his history lessons a bit more if he is to call himself a representative of civil liberties in America.
