OH, it's so vitally important to make every part of NJ look like every other (i.e., paved, strip malls, streets named after trees that are removed.)God forbid we not have a mall every 10 feet. No "major" shopping center in Sussex County? Has the idiot developer seen Newton? Or Franklin/Hamburg? And why must we have a "major mall" when we can get almost everything we need already with what we've got. Do we really need to duplicate stores again, even if it means that we have to go to - GASP - Rockaway or Ledgewood or Middletown for an occasional specialty item? With Internet shopping, malls are dying a slow death anyway, except for the gangs and thieves and drug dealers that love to go there to ply their trade. Yeah, that's something we need more of here! And don't forget the added traffic, smog, pollution, etc. People who've lived here all their lives are constantly losing their quality of life to either recent city immigrants who want the stuff they had in the city to come with them, or to idiotic greedy developers who don't live here but take advantage of the idiotic greedy local politicians to rape the environment & make a profit off our backs. LOCAL YOKEL POLITICOS LIE -- public lands lead to lower taxes for all, while development means higher property taxes. DEVELOPERS -- stay where you are & develop your own back yard (or the land for your 2nd house or your Caribbean Island) & stay the hell out of Sussex County!!

Strip malls are dying across the country. People mostly shop at Wally world or online. Another eyesore for Sussex county because of residents not keeping a close eye on their local politicians.
