Foglia murder conviction overturned by appeals court
The murder conviction of a man accused of bludgeoning his girlfriend's mother with a tray table in 2004 was overturned Friday by a state appellate court that ruled the prosecution had introduced evidence that should have been inadmissable.

I was on the jury. We found him guilty because he was. All the rest of that "trailer trash" stuff made for a nice story, but that was all and it didn't have any impact on our findings. We joked about it, but it was not taken at all seriously while we debated his guilt or innocense. The only thing that really was discussed,was the "bodyworshipping" issue. We discussed that because even though we were a group of educated, experienced and mature adults, who didn't consider ourselves naive, no one had a clue as to what that was. I remember we had to send a note to the judge to explain it. A retrial is a waste of taxpayer money!
