Mahlon went to my school and even though i didnt know him that well i will miss him. Mahlon was new to our school and even though this is his first year he will always be remembered. The thing that sucks now is that people are saying that he should have died. Mahlon shouldnt have died, he was the nicest kid in Blue Ridge. He will be forever missed and never forgotten. This was one of the most tragic thing that has happend to a student at my High School. Mahlon was in my English class, rode my bus and was one of the most polite students I had ever gotten to know. Im going to the site of the train crash after school today with a whole bunch of other classmates and fellow students just to say our last goodbyes to our classmate. Mahlon will always be remembered in our hearts and our minds. He had a great impact on all the students. Its sad how he died and I wish the best for his family I will be praying for them and hope they can recover I know our grade and school wont forget. Rest In Peace Mahlon I hope you will remember us all. R.I.P Mahlon 12/11/12 8:15 AM

I remember the first time I looked at him. He got his lunch on his first day of school and he stood in the middle of the cafeteria for 2 minutes. He had no one to sit next to and I was left contemplating on whether or not to invite him to sit with my friends and I. He ended up sitting with people who had embarassed him. He was bullied a lot at our school and it left me feeling very guilty. I felt like if I had invited him, he would've had a better experience at our school. And maybe he wouldn't have wanted to walk to school that morning. R.I.P.

Before Manlon moved he lived in Buchanan dam, TX just down the street from me. Mahlon and I were very good friends and i will always remember the good times i had with him. I had known him in elementary until he moved when he came back in middle school him and i went back to 2 against the world. He was my best friend and i will always remember him.
