This is why Gambling is illegal if not properly licensed and at an approved establishment.

Refer to the article about the Portsmouth "NIP" Joint selling booze in a neighborhood.

This is not a "RACE" problem, it's illegal gambling gone seriously wrong. Good on the player that was chased and had no choice but to shoot in self-defense; provided he carried it legally.

Although, that brings up a new question if illegally gambling, with a gun, is that a separate charge?[Firearm in the commissioning of a crime]

Every time something happens people always point fingers and try 2 use the race card. People can be so ignorant. All races have people in it that just ain't right but those few people shouldn't make u judge a whole group of people.

No ! That is not why gambling is illegal. It is illegal because the Gov. and State have no way to tax a back porch card game. A little nickel and dime game is harmless, a total of $200.00 in the house shows a small game so lighten up Francis and stop quoting out of the book. I am sure you have done worse, like maybe removed that little tag on your mattress which according to your book is illegal as well.

That's right, bust in with shotguns acting all bad**ses, thinking you're all that and look what it got ya.$200 won't even pay for the flowers at your lousy funeral, not that you deserve any.
Maybe his buddies learned something though.

This is the day the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it. Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your action; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character.
Every act has a consequence, once you choose the act, you have chosen the consequence. It is that simple! It is PRAYING TIME. Be blessed!

I Pray that blinded eyes will be opened to see that the devil only shows you whats good to you not whats good for you. The devil never shows the end result, which would be debt, losing relationships (MARRIAGES), prison or even death. WE are no match for the devil so don't play in his territory. The devil will get you right where he wants you, drop you like a BAD habit and laugh at you and say now what are you going to do. The wonderful thing about it Jesus is waiting where YOU left him for your return because he is so merciful. I am so glad God is not like man. AMEN! CONSIDER YOUR EVERY ACT!! Be blessed!

God id speaking loudly and boldly to his people. Now is the time if you haven't accepted as your lord and saviour. God is real and he is not happy with his people who are not obedient to his word. This is a wakeup call for his people. Pray, and then pray some more. God can fix things.

Now we have a reason FOR no gun contol. Had the card player that was chased onto the porch NOT been armed HE would have been dead, not the perpertrator. I AM AGAINST GUN CONTROL.... in case you couldn`t tell. If citizens were so armed, there would be MUCH less violent crimes. Just verify the stats for states that allow concealed weapons....I promise you they have a lower incident of violent crimes. I mean, if YOU were heading out to commit a violent crime and didn`t know if your vic was packing or not, would YOU take the chance? I doubt it.

True, all True; but you still need some sort of Gun Control like keeping records of weapons and stuff. As soon as you pull the stops on everything and look the other way someone will be selling guns to someone that has no business owning one.

Check those stats out; States with Concealed Carry How many of those state's weapons end up in a crime in another state?
